Being a one-man-band allows me to keep my overheads low and my integrity high.  I am a designer not a salesman so I won't sell you something I can not deliver.  And if you call my number, it's me who answers so I can give you a response right there and then.

Since becoming qualified in Graphic Design and Marketing, I have spent 7 years working as a designer in the marketing department of a international distribution company based in Birmingham.  In this role I designed various items from packaging to stationery and fliers to websites.  I was also Head of Production for the company’s supporting publication which is sold throughout the UK via WHSmiths and independent retailers.  As my position developed into the role of Marketing Manager I had less involvement with the company's website so I kept up-to-date with changing software by designing websites for friends and local not-for-profit organisations. 

In 2010 I left this company, moved to Basingstoke and started a family.  I now wish to work from home while I raise my little girl so I have started DesignbySophie.  Unfortunately, I have no portfolio of websites so I am offering free design for the first 6 businesses that contact me.  Click on my portfolio for more details...
